2011/02/22 MILAGRES: New Album, SXSW, Tour Kick-off TONIGHT at Mercury Lounge! If you happened to ask me to name one Brooklyn band that I thought deserved to make it big this year, there would be no hesitation when I replied with Milagres in under five seconds flat. And with the forthcoming release of their second LP Glowing Mouth on Kill Rock Stars in September of this year, the phenomenally talented group is poised to do just that. Can't wait until Fall? I don't blame you, and luckily you won't have to. They are also planning to release a Spring Tour EP before they hit the road for a March/April jaunt across the US. The tour also happily includes stops at SXSW where they will play the SXSW AUSTINBFFS day-party that I am putting on with Flavorpill/The Musebox/and The Bell House, sponsored by our friends at HP. NYC fans can catch them tonight at Mercury Lounge, opening for US Royalty.
